Edzai Edson Matika
Managing Partner
Eddie graduated from the University of Zimbabwe with a Bachelor of Laws Honours. He is a registered legal practitioner, conveyancer notary public and arbitrator. He has over ten (10) years legal practice experience. Eddie has sat in high-ranking advisory bodies such as the National Labour Advisory Council, the Tripartite Negotiating Forum as well as various institutions and trade unions. He is also a Director with Innovative Construction Group and a member of the ILAW Network. Eddie has experience in dealing with matters related to insurance, pension and social security, extractive, construction and agricultural law and is an expert in public service labour law. Mr. Matika is an avid researcher and author of note having authored commentaries and critiques on various aspects of the law.

Munya is the Founding Partner of the firm and has more than 20 years of legal experience. He has become one of the leading labour lawyers in the country. He is the author of one of the pioneering and leading texts in Labour and Employment Law in Zimbabwe which book has become the major reference text of all labour practitioners, trade unionists and Judges. He is a Senior Lecturer with the University of Zimbabwe having been there since 1994. He also teaches the Masters Programme with the Women's Law in Southern & Eastern Africa. Munya has been invited and facilitated in many judges' symposiums, trade union conferences & workshops. He was once a legislator in the Parliament of Zimbabwe. He is a renowned Author with several published texts & journal articles to his credit. Munya is a renowned Arbitrator, particularly in matters involving wage disputes at the National Employment Council levels. Munya is well known for his passion for the rights of the rank and file employees and has appeared in countless ground breaking labour cases. He is a member of the International Socialist Organisation (Zimbabwe) and the Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Labour Centre –a registered labour training institution.
